StereoPI ethernet connection to a raspberry pi 4B

Post by thedude »

Hello,
I am trying to get my StereoPI V2 recognized through direct ethernet connection with a Raspberry PI 4B. I can connect to it through the stereopi's wifi and direct ethernet connection with a windows 11 laptop, but not through direct ethernet with a Raspberry pi 4B which is what I want to do. I want to do this for a robotics project instead of having to go through a router or network switch. The 4B doesn't show any connected device on its ethernet port if I do an "arp -a" when I try to find the assigned DHCP IP address given to the stereopi v2. Any pointers would gladly be appreciated.

You need to set a static IP address and network parameters for the direct Ethernet connection. If you're using SLP, please check the cosmostreamer.conf file. You can set static Ethernet parameters there instead of DHCP.
