Hello,
Here is the power-up video for the StereoPi 2 .
If you're using the StereoPi V2 "black" edition, then:
- please check that you have the power jumper installed
- please check the "act" LED near the power jumper is blinking
For the "RED" edition, just check if the "ACT" LED is blinking.

Re: Aligning cameras with semi-silvered mirror - STLs?
Wow, that's quite impressive!
It reminds me of the ancient project I made before the StereoPi - it was a mirror rig to get a stereoscopic image from a single camera (it's on the right of the photo). And this project is 10 years old. It motivated me to develop a StereoPi :-)

Hi,
The best way is to follow the step-by-step tuning process from our guide. It helps to localize the issue. If you have a good result after each step, you should have a good final result.

Re: g2g latency with dual lcd screen module? @realizator
In my experience, the "balance" is near HD resolution and the highest FPS achievable (you need to tune this on your setup). For 30 FPS you have 33ms between frames, for 60 it's 16ms.
With VGA, you'll have perfect timing, but 640x480 is too low a resolution for an immersive experience. It's ...

Re: g2g latency with dual lcd screen module? @realizator
CM4 is able to output 60fps, but the issue is the stereoscopic mode capture framerate - it's hard to achieve 60fps at FHD. You can play with resolutions with your particular setup.

Re: Images swapped
Hi NMO,
Due to the difference on the ribbon cable connector position on the camera, you have to "swap" cameras in settings according to your model.
To do this in OpenCV you should set "letf" and "right" arrays appropriately. In script 3 you can see these lines here .

Re: Running Neural Networks
Hey NMO,
I don't have experience with EfficientNet. The "raw" ARM power of CM4 is not fantastic, but it can run some simple models. To estimate the performance, you can run the test on Pi4 or Google to evaluate the performance of a model similar to yours (since CM4 and Pi4 have the same CPU).

Re: Display Rotation for StereoPi v2
Please try one minor fix.
Officially RPF recommends to write lines in config.txt without spaces, like:
But in your file you have spaces near the equal mark. Try to remove them.
Also, I guess the line for LCD rotation is not needed at all - try to comment it out.

Yes, I see your vc4-fkms-v3d is correctly commented out.
Did you try display_rotate=3 and display_hdmi_rotate=3?

Re: Stereo delay and synchronization
Hello,
In our experience you can have a delay of less than units of milliseconds for days even without the hardware sync. It's importand that this is achieved with the ol video subsystem (MMAL/raspivid/raspistill), which is used in our images.

Hello,
Here are some quick tips based on your text and photo:
1. Please use 5_dm_tune.py to adjust the depth map parameters
2. It's better to do on an external monitor but not on the built-in screen :-)
3. When you're tuning the depth map, please have a few objects at close distance (30-40 cm), and ...

Okay, here are a few simple steps:
1. Using the link I've provided, please download the file "OpenCV_Buster..."
2. Insert SD card to your pc, and, using Balena Etcher software, write this image to the SD card
3. Insert this card to your StereoPi. Enjoy!

It looks like you're using the fresh RaspiOS, which does not have the MMAL/raspivid/raspistill video stack.
The easiest way is to get the ready-to-use OpenCV image here: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/nzr90vj8wp1l3/SLP

It's either the camera ribbon cable connection issue, or GPU memory settings. If you're using our OpenCV image, memory settings should be fine.
