Hi,
Is there anyone who knows if there is a way to do stereoscopic photography with raspberry pi 5? As far as i know the two camera ports are not synchronized on pi 5. It would be very interesting, because e.g. video resolution output could be 4k, camera module 3 could be used with its hdr and ...

Re: SLP2 image over-exposure - StereoPi V2
Dear Realizator,
I think the problem is caused by the fact that metering is done in video mode and when you take a still photo metering is "canceled" and re-done, but in case of sunny outdoor photos the 500ms delay is not enough for the correct metering, therefore in that case the image is ...

Outdoor overexposed stills - aka problem with changing from video to stills? (and a possible SOLUTION)
Hi,
I had the very annoing problem of overexposed images in daylight when I captured outdoor stills. The settigns (Exposure ISO...) did not change anything, only with changing EV I could do some minor correction.
I checked the internet for solution and I run into something that gives a kind of ...

Re: SLP2 image over-exposure - StereoPi V2
Hi,
Is there any solution to this topic's problem? I have the same problem. It is present with every version of SLP2 when I take outdoor stills. I use HQ cameras. Through viewfinder it is ok, If I change settings (exposure, ISO...) it has effect on viewfinder's preview, but when I shoot the photo ...

Re: Video playback? speed problems
Hello,
THIS TIME I HAVE SOLUTIONS, not problems. ;)
I have been experimenting with the device powering it from an Adata 10000mAh powerbank. I found that it works quite well with the 0.15.3 slp2 update, without freezing. For now, i have not been checking in the checkbox of some additional ...

Re: Video playback? speed problems
Hi Blinky,
Thanks for the hint. I tried it out (I powered it from electric socket with a 3A phone charger) and it improved the freezing situation, it is much better now, but not perfect (meaning that after a while it freezes yet sometimes, but I think I can live with that for now).
Meanwhile, I've ...

Re: Video playback? speed problems
Dear Realizator,
Did you manage to check the video speed problem?
I made the setup as it is described in wiki and I have this problem, that the video speed is not normal. Sometimes the device even freeze during video recording (maybe especially when I increase bitrate from 100000 to 300000) or when ...

Raspberry camera modul 3 with autofocus
Hi!
A bit early question, i now, but i am very excited about this new camera module 3 release with its autofocus natively on the libcamera. When, do you think, it will be possible to use a pair of those with its AF on the stereopi v2 camera kit?
I think with this, a new era of stereoscopic ...

Re: Autofocus camera
Dear Eugene,
Thank you, I am looking forward to see what future holds to RPI and to this project. I think the limit is the sky.
Thanks again for the great work and that you made many projects possible with this device

Dear Eugene,

If I understand correctly, if an alternative camera is compatible with raspberry pi cm4 without any additional driver, than there is a high chance that i can use it with SLP2?

Video playback? speed problems
Hello,
I have some problems with video capturing.
My stereo videos are faster in playback than normal, something between 1,5x - 2x speed. Could you help with it? What could have caused this?
Thanks!
Gábor

Hello,
I am new to this community, just received my StereoPi v2 camera kit.
